Hours: 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced DT Technician who can support the DT department in maintaining high standards of practical work. The ideal candidate will have the technical know-how to use workshop equipment, along with the ability to manage materials and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for DT lessons.
Maintain and order supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and organised workspace.
Support teachers and students during practical lessons to facilitate effective learning.
Assist in creating displays and presenting students' work.
Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the department to support the delivery of a varied DT curriculum.
What We're Looking For:
Proven technical skills in Design Technology, with relevant training or certification.
Familiarity with health and safety requirements in a workshop setting.
Adaptable and problem-solving nature, capable of supporting various activities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute positively to a team-focused department.
A proactive approach to assisting teachers and supporting students' learning experiences.
