Street Works Planner

Job Description
Avenue are currently seeking a Street works planner to oversee the operations within a busy water construction company.
You will work between departments making sure requirements and expectations are clear. Requirements will need to be translated into clear work instructions to make sure work is understood and runs efficiently.
The Role:
Our Administrators and Planners across the business are usually dedicated to a particular team or functional area. Work priorities and activities may vary depending on where you are based, although the roles are often similar - telephones to answer, queries to be resolved, follow up documentation to be sent and systems to be updated.
We have an opportunity for a Street works planner, with a strong work ethic and high regard for safety and performance, to join our team.
Rehabilitates:
Manage all aspects of Street works noticing and permitting for our field-based teams
Manage and coordinate jobs using Aurora
Ensure that all works sent out comply with the Safety Code of Practice, New Roads and Street works Act (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act (TMA) and Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH)
Submit applications for new permits/notices, traffic light applications and Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTRO) foot way/road closures
Liaise with client Street works team and ensure regular and accurate flow of information is maintained
