Job Description

The company has an opportunity for a Conversion Operator/Machine Operator working in our Reflex Flexibles site in Langley Mill.
Roles and Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust machines used in the conversion of raw materials (e.g., plastic and film) into finished products
Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet the required quality standards. Inspect finished products and make adjustments as necessary
Lifting & Material Handling: Safely use lifting gear to load heavy reels or materials onto machines and position them for production and stacking boxes onto a pallet
Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Ability to follow instructions
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative
Training and working conditions
Training provided to set up and run bag making machines
Work clothing and all PPE provided
Training available for Fire Warden, First Aider and Forklift if desired
Climbing a 6ft ladder to set up machine is required.
Contracted Hours:
This full-time permanent role is working Monday to Friday, on a double shift working 40 hours per week. First week 06:00 – 14:00 and the next week working Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 23:00 and Friday 14:00 – 18:00.
