Civils Site Supervisor

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor / General Foreman on behalf of a thriving civil engineering main contractor to work on projects across Yorkshire area.
This established regional contractor are steadily growing still after 40 years in business. Due to recent framework & work wins they are looking to add an efficient Site Supervisor to their team. They are increasing their capabilities as a contractor and successfully acquiring a steady pipeline of work in the local area.
Projects: water treatment, pumping stations, storm tanks, deep drainage, RC works, waterways & environmental civils etc.
Duties/Responsibilities as Site Supervisor:
* Assisting Project Manager in daily site delivery
* Site setup involvement
* Daily briefings with staff on site
* HSE toolbox talks
* Directing multiple gangs in daily delivery of work
* Managing sub-contractors
* Adjusting & briefing RAMS
* Ordering materials
* Involvement with progress reports & meetings
* Plant checks & permits
Experience required:
* Must have experience as Site Supervisor / General Foreman on civil engineering schemes as PC
* Must have experience delivering: water treatment, deep drainage, pipelines, flood defence etc. or similar
* Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and full driving license
* Beneficial: Temporary Works, EUSR Water etc.
Remuneration:
A salary of up to £50,000 (dependant upon experience) plus:
