Capital / Treasury Accountant

One of my local authority clients are currently in the market for a Capital / Treasury Accountant to join their team on an interim basis and I would be keen to hear your thoughts.

Capital/Treasury Accountant

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Midlands

Pay Rate: DOE

Start Date: ASAP

Hybrid working: X1 day in office per week.

This position is very much a 50/50 split in workloads between capital & treasury.

Capital work will include capital project meetings, monitoring capital reports, working on capital budgets, covering off financial accounts entries around year-end.

Treasury work will include monitoring of treasury investments and also treasury management strategy policy reports.

The client is very much in need of an Accountant who can come in and hit the ground running therefore previous experience doing both capital & treasury accounting within a local authority setting is essential for the position.
