Office Location: Leicester
Work Area: Projects across the East Midlands region

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager with a strong background in construction and operations, particularly in drywall, SFS and partitions. This role is ideal for a professional looking to manage high-value projects ranging from commercial spaces to apartment complexes and industrial buildings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. You will report directly to the Contracts Manager with direct reports from the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee construction projects across various sites within the East Midlands region, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Coordinate and supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all work aligns with project specifications and quality standards.
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and resolve any issues or changes in project scope.
Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Utilise project management software such as Fieldwire for planning and coordinating project activities (training provided).
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date, including risk assessments, method statements, and project plans.
Collaborate with the Director to plan and schedule project timelines and resource allocation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in construction project management, specifically with drywall, SFS, and partitions.
Strong understanding of the construction process for commercial, residential, and shell-type buildings.
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent is required.
