Job Description
For an international institution based in Strasbourg, France, we are urgently looking for a Senior Business Analyst. As Senior Business Analyst, you will become part of a bigger service, composed by Project Managers, Business Analyst, Solution Architects, Developers and Testers to reinforce this growing team.
Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Relocation to Strasbourg is necessary. Workpermit is required. This position is open for contractors, who would like to commit long-term.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Analysis of the IT functional and non-functional requirements, make sense of the available information and ensures that the project team understands all the details they require. This is to be done according to the applicable methodology and toolset to be used;
- Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to ensure that their concerns, requirements, and contribution are included in the requirements specification document;
- Provide input on low level detail design issues and patterns;
- Conduct business risk analysis;
- Update traceability matrices;
- Analyse & define specifications linked to the integration with other applications and/or technological components;
- Work in collaboration with Enterprise Architect and Solution Architect to design models in a modelling tool based on predefined requirements;
- Assist with training the administrators and users of the Systems;
- Bachelor's degree;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT, including 3 years or more as a Business Analyst;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in modelling and UML;
- Substantial experience in Business and IT System analysis, and ability to translate business requirements into IT requirements;
- Strong experience in the use of modelling and design tools in Business or IT projects (ARIS, EA, etc.);
- Extensive knowledge and experience in UML;
- Good knowledge of relational database systems;
- Ability to apply architectural principles to functional solutions and use of model-based representations to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business;
- Good command of English language;
