Job Description
Scope of the position: Reporting to the Director Information Systems, ERP this role will provide business process and technical support in the configuration and management of Chartwell’s ERP portfolio. They will ensure that our systems function as expected and meet end-users needs. The incumbent will be a strong and valued business partner to the Care, Finance and Accounting teams and the Business owners of our various ERP applications. The portfolio includes but is not limited to. Seniors Housing General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Management Point of Sale/Restaurant Management Systems Customer Relationship Manager Resident & Unit Management Electronic Health Record Reporting & Analytics The Senior Systems Administrator, ERP is a trusted and valued resource for all Chartwell ERP end-users and possesses a superior customer service mindset. Equally important is their strict adherence to IT general controls and Chartwell policies and procedures. They will deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use ERP software efficiently and effectively fulfilling business objectives. This includes troubleshooting of ERP software issues raised by internal users from key business units. Key Activities: The Senior System Administrator, ERP must. Provide technical help, support, and management of the incident and request workflow for all ERP systems, ensuring best practices are being followed. Review, troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate system errors and issues to the system vendor when necessary. Perform user access and role provisioning related tasks. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Provide support when needed to project teams during upgrades and enhancements. Follow strict adherence to documentation standards for all incidents. Follow strict adherence to all IT general controls, supporting compliance reporting and directly participating in a disciplined incident management framework. Follow IT Service Management and Asset Management best practices, following operating procedures, adhering to standards of quality (process and product) Develop SOP's and documentation and ensure existing documentation is up to date and organized. Participate in rotational standby/on-call duties as needed. Perform administrative tasks as required. Stay abreast of emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to enhance processes through automation strategies. Provide guidance and assistance to System Administrators, ERP. Skills & Abilities: Proven knowledge in SQL scripting. Proven knowledge of and experience with ERP software and database structure. Manage application maintenance (coordinating patching, patching cycles, maintenance downtime, performance with ERP software) and administration tasks. Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide support for applications and implementation / enhancement projects. Manage all Service Requests (SR) related to ERP applications. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem management. Excellent creative and analytical skills The ability to work independently, to be proactive and self-sufficient. Effective communication skills that include strong written, oral and presentation abilities. Self-motivated, creative and innovative with the resources at hand. Strong team player. Bilingualism (English / Functional French) is an asset. Qualifications: Experience: 5 years progressive Information Systems experience working with ERP implementations and support. 5 Years of experience in the seniors housing, health care or real estate sector and/or multi-site enterprise is considered an asset. Experience with Yard ERP software is considered an asset. Full cycle accounting experience is considered and asset. A working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management processes is considered and asset. Education: College or University degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Administration or equivalent. ITIL certification or applied knowledge is considered an asset. Special Requirements Availability to work non-standard hours and be flexible concerning workdays. Irregular work hours required during peak deliverable periods. Occasional travel to corporate offices and/or residence locations. Direct Reports None
