The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role as Technical Supervisor, where you’ll lead a skilled team, oversee product quality, and drive technical excellence across Asphalt and Aggregates operations across 2 labs. This is a hands-on, leadership role that lets you make a tangible impact while working with a team committed to delivering the highest standards. Here’s why this role is a standout opportunity:
Lead and support the technical team, ensuring training, safety, and best practices are consistently upheld.
Oversee product quality, ensuring all materials meet customer and industry standards while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement efficient asphalt and aggregate designs that balance quality, production, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure customer needs are met with innovative, added-value solutions.
Actively manage risk by reviewing contracts and ensuring technical compliance to safeguard company interests.
Ensure all technical processes are compliant with relevant legislation and industry standards by conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Proven experience in technical management within Asphalt or Aggregates.
Strong understanding of quality standards, sampling, testing, and compliance requirements.
Excellent team leadership skills, with experience in coaching, training, and staff development.
Analytical mindset, skilled in trend analysis and problem-solving to drive product and process improvements.
Confident communicator, able to collaborate with diverse teams and handle technical enquiries effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety legislation, ISO standards, and best practices in the field.
