Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-Time
Description of the Role:
Simply Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic primary school in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach and inspire children in Years 1 and 2, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and motivated to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting both academic and personal growth, and contributing to a nurturing school community. Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in Key Stage 1.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and making adjustments to ensure all children succeed.
Build strong relationships with students, encouraging their academic, emotional, and social development.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective strategies for classroom management and positive behavior.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and school leadership.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities to continually improve teaching practice.
Work closely with parents and carers to support the overall development and well-being of each student.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2) is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years and Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Patient, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching.
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if necessary).
