Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Overtime
Benefits: Pension, All expenses paid including, fuel, parking, 25 days paid holiday, training scheme. Out of town allowance of £25 per day, company credit card.

REClifts is now on the lookout for an experienced Marine Technician If you are a proven, Lift Lead Engineer, Senior Engineer, Senior Service Engineer, Senior Repair Engineer, Lift Tester, Lift Technician, Lift Tester & Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer, we want to hear from you!
Marine Technician Key Responsibilities:
Offering technical marine engineering knowledge and guidance on site and over the phone to your team of Engineers.
Ensure all fault finding & testing work is carried out efficiently by you and your team of engineers and subcontractors on cruise ships.
Supervise a team of Marine Engineers
Continuously monitor engine room systems, control panels, and alarms to ensure proper functioning.
Keep accurate records of machinery performance, maintenance activities, and repairs for compliance and analysis.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including emergency procedures and safety drills.
Monitor and manage waste management systems to comply with environmental regulations, including bilge water treatment and waste disposal.
Diagnose technical issues and provide solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems on board the ship as required.Ideal Marine Technician Candidate:
A minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar electrical or Marine Industry preferred but not essential
Demonstrable experience in Electrical Engineering
Good understanding of control panel wiring.
A leadership approach to health and safety and environmental obligations
Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
Ability to follow lift manuals, electrical diagrams, adhering to health & safety requirements
A full UK Driving Licence is Essential
Living a commutable distance from Liverpool
