Modern Foreign Languages Secondary Teacher (German and French)
Contract: Part-Time (0.6, three days per week)
Location: Secondary School, South London
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team on a 0.6 part-time basis (three days per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both German and French to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to inspire a love for languages and fostering students' linguistic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both German and French, aligned with the curriculum and departmental goals.
Inspire students to develop their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in German and French.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues in the MFL department and across the school to support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Strong subject knowledge and fluency in both German and French.
Experience teaching languages at the secondary level, ideally including preparation for GCSE or equivalent exams.
Passionate about language learning, with a commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
