Job Description
Are you an experienced Systems Engineer? Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you worked previously within Aerospace or Defence Sectors?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a growing business undergoing significant development.
You will be involved in all areas of the project lifecycle from project inception to installation and commissioning completion.

Job Description
You will take the customer vision and requirements, stated standards and legislation for the product, and isolate the relevant parts.
Then develop a set of requirements across multiple domain areas (Mechanical Engineering, Design, Electrical Engineering, Control systems, Instrumentation, Quality, Safety, Production etc.)
You will take the lead in developing the customer-specific system design / architecture including Configuration Management.
Create documentation that links customer requirements, standards and legislation to requirements, compliance statements, verification and validation activities and evidence.
Produce documentation that describes the system from a requirements point of view (System Requirement Document, Contract Design Engineering Datasheets, and Order Datasheets
Systems Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Have a strong understanding of basic systems engineering principles and the systems engineering V model, with the ability to implement this understanding in a dynamic working environment.
Have a Bachelor’s degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject, e.g. Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years experience working in a systems engineering, ideally within Aerospace or the Defence Sector.
Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and have experience in a design and engineering environment.
Experience of new equipment development projects through the entire life cycle with experience of dealing with complex customer specifications.
