Role Overview
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a variety of construction projects. Key Responsibilities
* Design & Development: Develop mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems, that meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with architectural and structural plans.
* Sustainability Focus: Implement energy-efficient and sustainable design practices to minimize environmental impact.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews, calculations, and simulations to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
* Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot design challenges and provide innovative solutions to meet project needs.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience: 3+ years in mechanical design within the construction industry.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).
* Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and building mechanical systems.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective project coordination and reporting
