Assistant Accountant Salary: £26,000 - £28,000Location: WrexhamSector: Construction
This position would suit an individual with all round experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase / sales ledger. Candidates applying should ideally have their AAT qualification or an equivalent accountancy qualification.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnswering purchase/sales ledger queriesReconciling supplier statements and paymentsReconciling bank balancesAssisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control etc.)Weekly external payroll payments and journalsPrepare monthly and annual ledger reconciliationsIntercompany journals and rechargesAllocation of expenses and credit cards
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceHave experience in a similar roleBe AAT qualifiedSage 50 experience would be desirableExperience working within the construction industry would be desirableExperience working in an SME would be desirableHave strong interpersonal skills
