Job Description
Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) is one of Britain’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers. The unique feature about IFA is the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location. Operating from a (Apply online only)ft2 facility in Sheffield, we manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector.
As a Key Account Manager one day will never be the same as the next, however, on a typical day you might find yourself:
* Updating our key customer on the status of their contract
* Managing the customer schedules and making variations to the plan when needed
* Ensuring that the data in the ERP system is up to date and accurate
* Drafting reports for internal and external partners
* Considering and implementing improvements
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
* You should enjoy talking to our customers.
* Get a buzz out of hitting our targets.
* You are likely to have some experience at this type of role previously.
* You will have great organisational and IT skills
* You are likely to be qualified to A level standard or similar.
