Propel
CRM Operations Manager
Job Location
Job Description
I'm so excited to say that Propel is collaborating with a truly impactful company that is a global community of leaders looking to make a difference.
I'm searching for an entrepreneurial go-getter to help steer their internal operations and CRM systems while further building their strong community as they grow.
This role is different to the traditional CRM Manager and involves working in a broader capacity. While it's important you understand CRM and the customer journeys that members may go through, this role will focus on CRM operations and establishing good community practices. You'll be joining the dots between different business areas to ensure that systems work, allowing the business to be best set-up for acquiring new members and growing their audience.
So if you thrive in a start-up environment and enjoy project management, working across the big picture and in the thick of things, take a read of this!
The Company
- This is a global leadership community that unites senior leaders across key industries, focusing on sustainable business practices and systemic change to address global challenges.
- They’ve built an excellent community of members already, meeting regularly in different capacities - including their own hosted events, digital forums, and other events hosted in the community
- They seek to forge partnerships that drive impactful initiatives across sectors, with their annual events led by top academics and experts, aiming to transform leadership approaches and teach new skills.
The Opportunity
This is a chance for someone who thrives in a dynamic, start-up environment to join the team and help shape the future of the organisation - and by that, I mean make a direct impact, not just on the business but also on the broader sector in which they operate.
- Work across multiple areas of the business, bringing variety and a hands-on approach typical of a start-up environment.
- Collaborate closely with C-suite executives, reporting directly into the COO, gaining valuable exposure and responsibility.
- Play a crucial role in improving internal processes and enhancing the member experience, directly contributing to the organisation’s global mission and influence.
This is a rare chance to step into a high-impact position where your contributions will drive real change and make a significant difference. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a meaningful impact, this is the place for you!
Role Responsibilities:
- CRM & Pipeline Management - Manage and optimise the CRM system to ensure accurate data, streamline workflows, and create dashboards to track event and candidate progress.
- Candidate & Community Management - Oversee the entire candidate application process, ensuring smooth communication and reporting while maintaining strong relationships with candidates.
- Operations & Company Organisation - Ensure efficient internal processes and cross-department collaboration, managing workflows, external contacts, and company documentation.
- Event Operations & Management - Coordinate logistics for flagship events, manage contracts and vendors, and provide on-site operational support to ensure seamless event execution.
- Systems & Process Optimisation - Continuously optimise internal systems and workflows, driving improvements in data management and platform integration across the organisation.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, streamline processes, and support the achievement of business objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience with Zoho as a CRM system is essential
- Project management experience, ideally across CRM and events
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle ambiguity while balancing immediate challenges with long-term success.
- Experience in founder-led, start-up/scale-up environments, with a big-picture mindset and the ability to connect across departments.
- Energetic, no-ego, and hands-on, willing to pitch in wherever needed while maintaining a focus on problem-solving and improving processes.
- Organised, process-driven, and capable of managing both chaos and growth independently.
Practical Info:
- Location: central London
- WFH: 3 days at home, 2 days a week in the office
- Compensation: around £45,000-£55,000 but this can be discussed further (if you're looking £5k either side, don't let this be a blocker! I'm happy to share more details in a conversation and work to best represent you)
