Building Surveyor

We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning Housing Association based in the Penrith area, who are looking for a Building Surveyor on a full time, permanent basis.

The role offers hybrid working (2/3 days home working), a salary of £36,321 and benefits including a mileage reimbursement rate.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for leading the tenant engagement process to keep tenants informed in regards to decarbonisation works due to be carried out on their properties
• Liaising with contractors in regards to repairs, and ensuring agreed timescales and budgets are being met
• Ensuring value for money was being achieved through the works being carried out by contractors
• Carrying out pre and post inspection prior and post works being carried out, to ensure agreed specifications were being met
• Working with procurement to oversee the day to day running of contracts

Experience and Qualifications required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
