About the Company - Exciting opportunity to join an elite retailer based in Shepherd's Bush, London.
About the Role - With the support of the Merchandiser, work with the Buying team to plan by brand, category, price and size, the seasonal OTB and ensure it is monitored closely in season and comes within budget.
Work with the Buying team to establish a balanced range of merchandise suited to the customer profile of the company.
Working together to make recommendations for changes and improvements to maximize sales potential and profit within the company.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure exclusive ranges and brands, optimizing the profit margin.
Ensure intake business margin is maintained and proactively improved season on season.
Manage WSSIs and create seasonal weekly forecasts which are in line with business KPIs.
Produce seasonal analysis that can be used to make strategic decisions within the Merchandising & Buying teams and throughout the business.
Monitor sell-through and deliveries of all vendors and making decisions based on performance of brands and products.
Ensure the department’s sales, profit, spend and closing stocks are accurately reported.
Be innovative and open to forecasting upcoming trends.
Familiarize oneself with local and overseas market situations and trends.
Manage department markdowns, margins and closing stocks ensuring maximum profitability.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to strive to improve existing processes.
Manage the business relationship with suppliers to maximize sales and profit.
Communicate accurate information to internal Sales and Marketing teams for use in the production of marketing plans.
Always demonstrate and reinforce the Companies Vision and Values and providing the necessary leadership to gain commitment from the team (owning, retaining, and developing your talented team and business).
Identify and execute ways to increase team member’s loyalty, satisfaction and pride with the YNAP experience.
Reinforce the company message to the team and reinforce the need to drive profitability through the merchandise mix and full price sell through.
Provide coaching to ensure that direct reports can meet and exceed the requirements of their role. Identify and facilitate opportunities for additional training for the team.
Monitor and review performance of direct reports, identify individuals who are ready for promotion or require performance improvement plans.
Take appropriate corrective action with team members who fall below standard (in consultation with HR Department).
Complete and present performance appraisals based on defined goals and objectives for their team members in a timely manner.

Pay range and compensation package - £13.15 per hour
35 hours per week
