Job Description

We are working with our client who are a global, heavy lift and crane hire company in their search for a logistics planner or hire controller. You will be the point of contact between the field service staff and responsible for the daily planning of resource and equipment.

This role is based in Thornaby with fantastic benefits, training and progression on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
• Plan resource and equipment and work with abnormal road routes etc
• Review timesheets, works orders invoices etc
• Coordinate operators and staff and ensure they have the correct documentation for site etc
• Comply with H&S standards
• Communicate schedules and changes to teams and ensure everyone is informed of job-specific details.
• Assign the appropriate crane and operators to specific jobs, considering load capacities, terrain, and operational requirements.

The Person:
• Great communication skills
• Excellent IT knowledge and bale to pick up different systems
• Good written language skills
• Experience in a planning/hire coordinator role desirable
