Teaching Assistant - Birmingham
Start Date: January
Pay: £85-£95 per day
Contract Type: Long-term
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Birmingham on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance, helping to close learning gaps.
Promote positive behavior and create an inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
Support children with additional needs, including SEN, EAL, or those requiring extra pastoral care.
Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive school culture.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working in a school or educational setting.
Hold relevant qualifications CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent
Demonstrate a caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
Be confident in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Be available for a January start and committed to a long-term role.
