Position Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Finance BioProduct Delivery, this appointment is a key strategic partner role to the Site General Manager in setting and delivering the financial objectives of one of Strategic Catalent’s sites in Europe for Biologics business. The Limoges site serves as the European Centre of Excellence for clinical biologics formulation development and drug product fill/finish of vials, syringes, and cartridges.

The Role:

1. Create, drive, and implement the site strategic plan, setting financial milestones to deliver the annual budget. Develop and share financial insights that are easy for non-finance to grasp.


2. Lead the monthly forecasting, working with the leadership team and presenting to executive leadership.


3. Set strong controls on base cost spending across the site and understand and educate performance drivers for site growth.


4. Partner to track and realize the cost improvement targets through CI, TCE, and Procurement, and support global functions and contribute to process/system improvements and implementations.


5. Lead the Limoges site relationships: Banking, Audit & statutory accounts, tax (direct and indirect).


6. Ensure internal compliance: Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Toll manufacturing Processes.


7. Lead the Limoges team to deliver the internal three-day reporting deadline, ensuring adherence to the financial control framework, including first-class supporting documentation, and focusing on working capital cycles to maximize free cash.


8. Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate:

Expert knowledge in finance management concepts with a strong consultative but results-oriented approach within a manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred).

Knowledge of SAP and/or OneStream is an advantage.

Demonstrable commercial delivery & knowledge of US GAAP revenue reporting are advantageous.

Excellent negotiation and contracting skills. Ability to “get the job done” and take responsibility for results without direct authority. Ability to coordinate, facilitate, and organize resources.

Analytical ability, both interpersonal and issue-related; good judgment and ethics; professional presence and demeanor; strong interpersonal skills; and political savvy.
