Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Manager (Data Scientist, Manager), with strong expertise in optimization to join our growing team. As Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, engineers, and machine learning engineers in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to business problems. You will also be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analytics initiatives.

Essential Functions:

1. Design, create, test, and implement complex models and algorithms that drive analytical solutions throughout the organization.
2. Lead a team of data specialists.
3. Conduct advanced statistical and other analyses to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.
4. Collaborate with business analysts and understand business problems to implement scalable and sustainable solutions.
5. Coordinate with MIS, Digital Specialists, and Data Engineers to deliver holistic analytical solutions.
6. Communicate the design, functioning and output of the analytical models/solutions developed.
7. Ensure timely analysis and testing for regular maintenance of solutions over time.
8. Communicate data insights to stakeholders.
9. Establish and implement organization, function and/or sub-function short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy.
10. Accountable for the budget, performance, and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams.
11. Responsible for the roadmap execution and adjustment.
12. Lead large projects/initiatives; AND/OR provides leadership and direction through managers, professionals, and support.
13. Stakeholders of this role include Leadership team members, business leaders as well as technical experts making highly developed interpersonal & soft skills important.
14. Proficient in data science, optimization, machine learning, Python, R, SQL, data analysis, analytical skills, teamwork, and communication skills.
