Production Officer

Holcim is currently expanding their Mt Louisa team and as a result, we are looking for a Production Officer for their Concrete plant. We are more than happy to train the right person; however, you would need to have current competency on Front End Loader operations.

Roles in Concrete Plants are fast-paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process-driven with a high level of attention to detail.

Start times can vary depending on operational requirements; however, you can expect to start between 5am and 6am most mornings, with the occasional earlier start required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support and display a strong safety culture at all times


• Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes


• Allocating and assigning loads to drivers


• Stock management and coordination of deliveries


• Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance


• Provide high level customer service to our clients

We will train you on our systems; however, you will come to us with a good level of computer skills (Word, Excel & Google Docs). You will have a keen interest in learning new computer systems, audit processes, and a variety of other duties. The key to succeeding in this role is your excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), the ability to pick up computer systems quickly, and your outstanding customer service.

You will be required to pass a police check, as well as a full medical which includes functional assessment and drug & alcohol screening.

You must also hold unrestricted Australian work rights, with no limitation on hours or duration of employment. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Student or Holiday Visas.
