Site Accountant - Hybrid
£40k plus package

30 am- 4.30 pm 37.5 hours/week.
This successful food manufacturer has a role in their finance team for a site accountant and it's ideal for someone looking to make their first step up in a manufacturing environment with pace and high-quality standards.
Based in the North-West, this site is dynamic and has a progressive and ambitious culture set right from the Senior Leadership Team who has ensured Finance are integrated and work in collaboration with the other functions.
What will the role involve?
As you would expect, this is a manufacturing site so the Finance team are a key part of watching those all-important numbers that ensure the operation are heading in the right direction, you will be reporting on:
Reporting on: Material and Labour Variances and Operational Overheads
Being actively involved in the month end process
Preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts
Supporting in the planning, budgeting and year -end audits
Using your knowledge and understanding (once settled in role) to give insight and operational support to all the functions you support
Working with an experienced finance team with years of operational knowledge to learn from
The backgrounds we are looking for on this role are:
Candidates with energy who are really wanting to develop their finance career.
An ability to demonstrate strong analytical and numerical ability in current role.
Good communicator both written and in person - able to build relationships with other teams
Experience of working to deadlines.
A real attention to detail.
Experience of manufacturing environments and how finance support in similar challenging environments.
