Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for the following: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer matters or concernsWork closely to build and maintain effective customer relationshipsMain point of contact and management of communications between the customer and internal teams.Generate and provide detailed reports as per customer requirementsReview account performance for scorecard enhancementMonitor and maintain various customer portalsReview and update customer orderbookHelp with marketing plans, design marketing material and social media contentSupport senior account manager and commercial team as requiredDevelop a thorough understanding of the customer products and markets to ensure all opportunities for growth are recognisedWork closely with other internal departments to ensure overall quality of serviceThis company is currently trialling a 4-day work week, with compressed hours of the following: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 17:00Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 17:30Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 18:00
What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a customer facing role ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Excellent verbal communication skills, both face to face, telephone and be confident presenting to all levels within an organisation.Excellent written communication skills both via email and also for social networking sitesExcellent organisational skills and able to effectively manage time with the ability to multitask.A good business acumenCapacity to work under pressure and ability to work to timelines.Educated to at least A Level or equivalent.Knowledge of Insight 123 or other MRP/ERP/CRM systemsMust be adept in the use of Microsoft package, particularly excel, outlook and word
