QHSE Manager- Aberdeen
The Role
To oversee and implement the HSEQ strategy within the Business. Responsible for leading this aspect in cooperation with the management team and will be the nominated person within the business for consultation with regards to HSEQ matters.
The position will provide functional support throughout the business to ensure adequate HSEQ resources are maintained to meet regulatory requirements, policies, standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
Promote and maintain safe and effective working practices that are in compliance with legislation, Group policies and procedures.
Development and maintenance of Group HSEQ Management System.
Help workforce implement HSEQ processes and tools such as Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks, Management of Change, Supplier Management and Document Control.
Sets out the Group Document Control process.
Support operational and non-operational personnel in recognizing and implementing Group policies and objectives.
Help set and monitor HSEQ policies and objectives.
Undertake performance monitoring routines.
Monitoring of project incident reporting and monitor / assist in close out of actions assigned.
Carry out incident investigations as required.
Ensure non-conformances are managed effectively.
Monitoring of customer feedback / complaints.
To seek best practice and knowledge from others within and out with the offshore energy industry and promote where such practice and knowledge can improve company performance.
Ensure HSEQ communications / information disseminated through the Group (e.g., IMCA Safety Flashes).
Review of tender documentation relating to HSEQ and preparation of any supporting HSEQ documentation required.
Through the provision of HSEQ leadership, direct positive behaviour to maintain and promote a positive HSEQ culture.
Assist with identifying HSEQ training requirements.
Carry out internal and supplier audits as required and maintain Group audit schedule.
Work with Supply Chain in the appraisal and selection of suppliers.
Chair HSEQ meetings when required.
Interface with certification body.
Interface with third party Office Manager on HSEQ issues and ensure necessary documentation is issued to Group personnel.
Carry out work in accordance with the Group Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continual improvement of the environment.

Requirements
Essential
* 5+ year’s experience in HSEQ role.
* Must hold valid BOISET, MIST & OGUK Medical.
* PC Literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including word, outlook and excel.
* NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
* Qualified as Lead Auditor.
Desirable
* Experience in Oil & Gas Renewables.
* Experience supporting projects.
* Qualified to degree level or relevant experience in a related discipline.
* Qualified in a recognised investigation method e.g. Taproot or Kelvin TOPSET.
Critical Competencies
* Provision of HSEQ support to Management & Operations.
* Ability to maintain Group HSEQ policies and objectives.
* Have a high-level understanding of the company Business Management System.
* Have a high-level understanding of legislation and industry guidance relative to the Groups business.
Salary- £50-65K DOE
