Year 2 Class Teacher | Birmingham, B16
Salary: £155 - £210 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher ready to take on the challenge of leading a Year 2 class? Our vibrant and inclusive school in Birmingham, B16, is looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher who can bring creativity, energy, and a passion for education into the classroom.
Your Role:
Design and deliver dynamic, engaging, and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
Regularly assess and track student progress, using both formative and summative assessment strategies.
Work closely with colleagues, including the SENCO and support staff, to ensure that all students, regardless of their starting point, feel included and are given the tools they need to succeed. This includes adapting resources and approaches for students with additional needs.
Foster strong partnerships with parents and guardians through regular communication and involvement in their child's educational journey.
Actively participate in the wider school community, including attending staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and taking part in extracurricular activities that enhance the educational experience for all students.About You:
You're a qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2, and have a thorough understanding of the curriculum and the developmental needs of students at this stage.
Your love for teaching and commitment to student success is evident in everything you do.
You have a knack for making learning fun and engaging, using a variety of teaching strategies that capture the attention of your students and make learning memorable.
You're able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and communicate effectively to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals.
