Siemens Mobility is looking for a Train Maintenance Deputy Supervisor to join their Rolling Stock team in Leeds!

You'll make an impact by:
  • Personally resolving staff issues and escalating only if resolution is beyond your authority.
  • Ensuring continuous development of the team to build a high-performance
  • Implement safe systems and controls within your area of responsibility. Understand, implement and align with the Siemens Rolling Stock HSEW and communicate this with your team.
  • Schedule and deliver the production plan
  • Control incidents, preserve evidence and investigate until relieved or the investigation is concluded.
  • Actively participate in our improvement programme and drive implementation of improvements from the team

Your success will be grounded by:

Essential:
  • Leadership/Supervisor experience
  • Good knowledge of IT systems/software
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral Strong organization/planning skills
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety and environment requirements

Preferred:
  • Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance procedures/practices Engineering ONC or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles Contract/Commercial knowledge
