Lead Software Developer
Flexible Hybrid working (1 day per month in an office)
Salary £80-95k+ Benefits + Bonus
A Lead Software Engineer opportunity within a large ecommerce business. The company are expanding their software engineering leadership resources due to continued product growth and require an experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead an Agile development team
The Lead Software Developer will remain hands on but engage with internal Software Engineering Managers to develop and deliver Front end applications built using JavaScript, React and TypeScriopt in a modern DevOps environment.
The company can offer flexible hybrid working options with 1 day per month in one of their Southeast offices.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and mentor software engineers developing a front end JavaScript, React based application
Resolving any tech issues by effective collaboration
Implement software engineering best practices - Agile, SOLID, etc
Help steer technical decision making, work closely with Product teams in a product driven environment
Engage with Senior stakeholders on project updates, as requiredKey experience
Passion for using modern technology to create effective and interactive customer facing applications
Experience of leading other software engineers in an Agile environment
A strong background in ReactJS, Redux, Typescript - the role will remain hands-on
Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and 3rd parties
Experience within Retail, Ecommerce or Marketplace environments is desirableAll candidates applying must be eligible to work in the UK and be UK based
