About the role

As a TCI Caas Designer with extensive Telecoms expertise, you will collaborate with our client’s Telco Cloud team. You will be Facilitating agile (Scrum) meetings and ensuring all relevant information is up to date and work on the design and development of telco cloud architectures.

Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

The must haves:

• Previous experience working with Jira, Confluence and Gitlab, preferably in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of the telecommunication industry and its technologies.
• Fundamental knowledge of computer science, including networking and software principles.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, cloud-native and DevOps (CI/CD) concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate agile (Scrum) meetings and ensure all relevant information is up to date and accurately recorded.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Jira and Confluence, the Atlassian products used for project management and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work on the design and development of telco cloud architectures and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Support and maintain product roadmaps and planning activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud technologies and cloud-native concepts.
• Conduct research and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in telco cloud technologies.

Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation

• An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, £500-600 per day (via a Hays approved umbrella company) or £400-490 per hour via Hays PAYE
• This role provides a remote working access from the comforts of your own home and only going to our state-of-the-art office in Paddington occasionally.
