Business Development Manager - Health systems
£65,000 to £75,000 + 10% bonus
Required to be in the London office four days a week.
Tarka Talent is working with a leading boutique consultancy that is dedicated to helping leaders and frontline teams improve health, transform healthcare, embed life science innovation and boost growth through investment. The firm serves the entire healthcare sector, from healthcare systems and life sciences to health tech and sector suppliers. They provide end-to-end services, spanning strategy, finance, performance, organisational improvement, data and digital.
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in their health system practice. Accountable to the Managing Partner and responsible for helping to support the practice. The focus of the role is orchestrating the business development efforts of the practice, developing the overall strategy and for converting the strategy into annual business goals and quarterly OKRs to be delivered by the practice team. The Business Development Manager coordinates delivery of the business plan in-year, organising and managing the activities required for its delivery.
Required background:
- Must be a Manager or top end of Senior Consultant.
- Management consulting experience is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- Strong business development acumen, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to organisational growth.
- Experience developing high impact propositions, proposals and pitch materials.
- Good project management skills, resource management, and delivering successful outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Maximise the firms market access to public sector procurements through portals, frameworks and relationship with client procurement teams.
The logistics:
