Responsible Sourcing Manager (12 months Fixed Term Contract) – Prestigious FTSE 100 Professional Services Brand – Central London (Hybrid – 2 days in office) + £100,000 + benefits

As part of a CFO backed Procurement initiative, this £ Multi-Billion Professional Services Giant is pumping investment into creating a Procurement Sustainability agenda.

The Responsible Sourcing Manager will drive the firm’s Responsible Sourcing programme, managing key projects, enhance supplier engagement, and support the firm’s goal of being a leader in sustainability and responsible business practices. They will crucially support the firm in delivering commitments relating to environment, supplier diversity and human rights.

Responsible Sourcing Manager role profile:-

• You will continue the drive the programme and initiatives, ensuring effective delivery and, where appropriate, making recommendations for its enhancement.
• You will oversee monitoring and reporting from supplier engagements on carbon emissions (Scope 3 PG&S), human rights, and diversity, contributing to the Sustainability Committee and external reporting.
• You will need to influence key stakeholders such as:

Contract Managers and Business Team Leaders on sustainability commitments, priorities and behaviours

Suppliers and potential suppliers through discussions, setting tender requirements, contractual KPIs and supporting supplier relationship management

• Responsible for Sourcing “Steady State” Delivery.
• Responsible Sourcing Technology Platform Management.
• Create articles, presentation slides and general communications relating to Responsible Sourcing.

Required background:-

• Previous involvement in developing and implementing a Responsible Sourcing programme
• Familiarity with ESG supplier portals
• Global experience
• Professional, engaging, and outgoing
• Passionate about supplier engagement and sustainability
• Strong communicator and negotiator
