Salary: £95,338 – £105,328

Banding: SLMG1

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid (2/3 days in the office)

Nottingham City Council is seeking an exceptional, visionary leader to step into the pivotal role of Director of Adult Social Care and Health. What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead with Vision – Develop and implement strategies that prioritise service user voices, drive continual improvement, and promote service excellence
  • Build Collaborative Partnerships – Cultivate partnerships across public, private, and voluntary sectors to enhance service delivery and foster integrated approaches to health and well-being
  • Drive Operational Excellence – Manage resources effectively while ensuring alignment with the Council’s strategic goals and maintaining financial sustainability
  • Champion Community Leadership – Act as a community advocate for Nottingham City Council, enhancing the city’s reputation through innovation, safeguarding, and effective service delivery
  • Inspire Transformation – Lead the transformation of adult social care services, driving change in service areas like learning disability, mental health, and housing solutions
  • Must be an extremely experienced and qualified Social Worker, with a proven track record in the field.
