Site Operations Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: Worcestershire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: £60,000 Plus Bonus

Are you an experienced and self-motivated Operations Manager with a background in food manufacturing? Join a dedicated food manufacturing site in Worcestershire, where you'll have end-to-end responsibility for maintaining and improving operational excellence and quality standards.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will manage a range of critical functions, ensuring the site operates efficiently and meets high standards of quality, safety and compliance. Key areas of responsibility include:

• Compliance, Quality Delivery & Production
• Warehouse Operations, Stock Management & Facilities
• Transport & Customer Logistics
• Health & Safety & Site Hygiene

Your role will involve driving site-wide improvements, from production processes to customer logistics, making sure all standards align with BRC requirements and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in food processing operations, with a strong background in quality and compliance management.
• Proven experience in managing teams and working in a collaborative environment.
• Solid understanding of BRC standards and operational effectiveness in a food manufacturing environment.

Relevant qualifications:

• Level 3 HACCP
• Level 3 Food Safety
• Level 3 Food Hygiene for Manufacturing
• Internal and 3rd Party Auditing experience

Ideal Candidate:

A dynamic leader with hands-on experience managing site operations and have a deep commitment to upholding high standards. Residing within a 45-minute commute is preferred.
