Data Science Director (Senior Technical Lead)

Salary: Up to £170,000 + bonus, pension, private healthcare and equity

London - 2 days a week in office

Join a dynamic team of Data Scientists driving commercial value within a fast-paced, well funded 20 person startup consultancy working on innovative ML and AI projects.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working closely within a team on a variety of end-to-end projects from customer churn, segmentation, forecasting, geospatial analysis and then innovative GenAI and LLM models
• Working alongside technical and non-technical stakeholders, creating insights and reports on key findings
• Managing a team of 5, whilst remaining hands-on as a Tech Lead focusing on code reviews and upskilling the team
• Chance to influence company Data Science strategy working closely with the CTO and founders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

• MSc or PhD in STEM/AI related subject from a Russell Group University
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Machine Learning
• 8+ years experience
• Experience across a variety of ML projects is key
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience working with stakeholders
