Job Description

Success Recruit are currently working with a leading supplier based in Witham, providing a high-end service to the Construction Industry. This is a newly created position for an Internal Sales Representative to support the business development and marketing function of the business.

The successful Internal Sales Representative will be working closely with the Marketing Director & the Development and Specification Director. The position is hybrid and working location can be either Witham, Essex or Hadleigh, Suffolk.

Ideally, the successful candidate should have at least 5 years Inside Sales experience of selling products, along with customer service experience. Some knowledge of the construction industry would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given.

The successful Internal Sales Representative will be expected to:

* Have at least 5 years’ experience in a customer selling environment, preferably within a technical or construction related industry

* Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills

* Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar

The successful Inside Sales Representative will be rewarded with:

Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Representative that thrives in a busy environment and is looking at ways to increase and support with increasing revenue via marketing and business development channels. This will be a fundamental role, supporting their Technical Sales Managers to achieve the customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Duties to include but not limited to:
The successful candidate should be comfortable making multiple calls each day, to understand the customers’ needs and working alongside both sales and marketing to generate campaigns and qualified leads.

* Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups

* Following up customers after trade days, CPD’s and exhibitions

* Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities

* Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails

* Explaining the functions and features of products and services

* Maintaining and improving the CRM database of prospects

* Researching for new leads & following up existing

* Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers

* Upselling products and services

* Working with marketing to initiate campaigns and promotions

Salary: £30k Plus KPI based incentive

A minimum of 2 days per week will be required in the office after training at either Witham or Hadleigh in Suffolk.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm – hybrid with 2 days in the office
