Senior Site Manager

£50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Package
This is for a main contractor that turn over circa £15m.
They are looking for a seasoned number 1 manager with opportunity to progress into a Project Manager role. Promotions from within are a big thing with this company and all of the current Contracts Managers began in this position.
Great culture, supply chain and retention rates.
Flat layer management in the business and quick decisions are made based on common sense.
Contracts range from £250k - £3m typically and work is across the country so you will need to work away during the week which will be expensed.
The Role
Coordinating and clearly directing both directly employed site staff and contractors.
Planning and programming all site activities and coordinating labour.
Working closely with the Contracts/Project Manager to ensure work is progressing according to the programme with effective cost control.
Promptly dealing with any issues and planning corrective actions.
Proving regular updates, attending and leading progress meetings and subcontractor meetings.
Maintaining the Group's high quality and safety standards, working closely with our in-house Health, Safety and Environmental Team
