Job Description
Our client is a large main contractor who work across Industrial, Commercial and Retail Projects with values up to £40m. They are looking for a talented Site Engineer to join their growing team.
Role & Project Overview:
* £25m Industrial Scheme - Bristol - New Build Steel Frame
As a Site Engineer, you will report into a Senior Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. You will work closely with project managers and site teams and have a key role in surveying/setting out and general engineering duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and construction activities.
* Interpret and implement technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
* Conduct site surveys, set out locations, and ensure accurate levels.
* Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule.
* Manage and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
* Prepare reports, maintain site documentation, and update project status.
* Assist in problem-solving and quality assurance on-site.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role.
* Would suit someone that is looking to progress to Senior Engineer in the next year or two.
* AutoCAD proficient
* Familiar with Leica Robotics
