Job Role: Art/Photography Teacher
Location: Kensington & Chelsea
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Type: Long Term, Full-time
Are you a passionate Art/Photography Teacher looking for a dynamic opportunity in Kensington & Chelsea? Join our comprehensive secondary school community, inspiring creativity and developing students’ skills in Art and Photography. As our Art/Photography Teacher, you’ll play a key role in delivering art lessons to KS3 & KS4 and Photography to KS3 & KS4 students, nurturing young artistic minds and helping students to excel in their creative studies.
As the Art/Photography Teacher, you will:
Teach engaging Art lessons to KS3 & KS4 students and Photography to KS3 & KS4 students, fostering a positive, creative classroom environment.
Plan and deliver lessons that inspire creativity, teach essential skills, and engage students at every level.
Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to support their development and exam preparation.
Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular art and photography activities, encouraging students’ passion for creativity.
Maintain and organise art supplies and photography equipment to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Requirements for the Art/Photography Teacher role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in teaching Art and Photography.
Proven experience teaching Art at KS3 & KS4 and Photography at KS3 & KS4 levels.
Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young artists.
Knowledgeable in digital and traditional photography techniques and a variety of artistic mediums.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
