Job Description
A fast-growing main contractor operating across London and the Southeast is seeking an experienced Site Manager on a permanent or freelance basis for a significant Cut & Carve project in South West London.
Role Overview
The Site Manager will oversee the project from the demolition phase through to completion. Responsibilities include ensuring the project runs on time and to programme, while managing employees, subcontractors, and resources effectively. The successful candidate will also chair and attend progress meetings with trade contractors.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage employees, subcontractors, and materials for safe and effective contract delivery.
* Ensure works are completed efficiently to achieve commercial success.
* Uphold quality and compliance standards, adhering to Quality and Environmental processes.
* Hold contract review meetings and coordinate with subcontractors.
* Conduct performance reviews and develop Personal Development Plans for direct reports.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in Engineering/Construction or a strong trades background.
* Proven experience on large-scale projects, including demolition, façade retention, and fit-out.
* Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Quality procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
