Circa £24,000pa, depending on experience
Permanent, full-time, 40 hrs pw, Mon-Fri, 7.45am-4.15pm
Approximately 8 miles from Truro, Cornwall

The Estate has a team of maintenance, gardening, forestry and joinery employees that maintain the core estate and manage the beautiful surroundings which are on the edge of the River Fal. The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Woodsperson to join our small, friendly, and established team, at a very exciting time in the history of woodland management of the Estate. The work is varied and covers all aspects of woodland management, in predominantly broadleaf woodland.
Duties include:
- Planting, maintenance and establishment.
- Thinning and small-scale harvesting.
About You
You will need:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in woodland management.
- The ability to demonstrate a wide range of silvicultural (the growing and cultivation of trees) skills and knowledge.
- A full clean driving licence and own transport, as we are in a rural location, with no public transport links.
