Senior Finance Business Partner - Fashion

I am currently recruiting for a broad commercial finance position to join a highly profitable and fast paced clothing retailer based near Liverpool (North East England).

The business is going through a very exciting period of rapid growth which has created this fantastic opportunity to join the finance function.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic financial objectives and driving further growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing insightful financial analysis and suggesting recommendations to the wider business.

You will:

• Lead the analysis of performance by product, SKU & sales channel.
• Identify factors impacting the gross margin & provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
• Partner with non-finance to develop pricing strategies, competitor benchmarking & impact assessments.
• Collaborate with the development teams to ensure a product assortment based on gross margin & customer demand.
• Manage product cost, evaluating supplier contracts & reducing costs.
• Evaluate the impact of promotional activities.
• Develop financial, planning & reporting tools to monitor actuals vs performance
• Be involved in any ad-hoc strategic projects as/when required.

You have:

Accountancy qualification - CIMA / ACA / ACCA or overseas equivalent

Previous experience in a clothing / e-commerce retailer - this is required

Excellent Excel modelling skills

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills at all levels

This role is a hybrid role with 3 days per week required in the office.
