Your new role
Owing to a healthy pipeline of exciting highway drainage, flood alleviation and SuDS design projects, they are now looking for drainage engineer in the water sector to assist with project delivery and management ensuring new commissions are delivered to the highest possible standard
In short you will be able to
* Help to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
* Work on the design and modelling of drainage designs, SuDS designs and hydraulic models
* Produce of drawings (AutoCAD) and (Civil3D)
* Conduct site evaluations to assess existing drainage infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
About you
We are seeking Senior Drainage Engineers with the skillset to thrive in a small and dynamic team.
You should demonstrate
* A keen eye for detail is essential for identifying potential issues and ensuring plans are accurate.
* Effective communication is crucial for collaborating with colleagues, clients, and contractors. Must be able to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* While collaboration is important, drainage engineers also need to be able to work independently and take ownership of their tasks.
* Experience in highways drainage or in design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Strong CAD skills (and Civils 3D experience preferred)
* Experience in Micro Drainage or similar
* Chartership with the relevant body or working towards chartership
