Capital and Program Manager - Asia
Location: GSK HQ, London / Jurong, Singapore
The purpose of this role is to deliver Strategic Investment Planning, Facility Investment Planning and the resulting Capital Investment Portfolio across the PSM network, ensuring the faultless execution of projects to maintain the safe and compliant operation of manufacturing facilities (Asset replacement value of >£3 billion) and to support business growth across the Supply Chain in LATIN/ APAC/ MIDDLE EAST/EUROPE.
This role is required to coordinate and direct the sites and supply chain capital and project teams from planning through to benefit realisation of capital investment in alignment with PSM business priorities including building and developing capabilities. The impact of the role is immediate in terms of ensuring effective governance, stakeholder management, strategic alignment, planning and execution and ensuring delivery of key inter-dependent projects critical to success. This role interacts with a large network across the GSC and PSM business units including Supply Chain Strategy, Finance and Tech organisation.
This role is also expected to provide strategic and implementational support for GSC core initiatives such as DDA, OT security and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build, obtain approval and deliver PSM Capital Investment Portfolio of £100m to £120M.
- Deliver faultless execution of projects to maintain facility and drive business growth of the manufacturing group including related Supply Chain capital investment, across LATIN/ APAC/ MIDDLE EAST/EUROPE
- Deliver Quality & EHSS regulatory projects to ensure GSK maintains its licence to operate across the PSM network with regulators.
- Direct and support sites to build Facility Investment Plans to maintain fit for purpose condition of assets with >£3billion asset replacement value and to deliver supply chain and network strategy.
- Provide effective governance in managing capital investment activities and project management from inception to benefit realisation. This includes project & portfolio delivery performance management and reporting to relevant governance boards.
- Manage Project investment approval in full alignment with PSM business priorities by ensuring endorsement from GSC leadership team and value for money opportunities are baked in.
- Deliver 7% capital efficiency annually across the capital portfolio.
- Build / align SME capabilities and forge relationships working with site teams, Front End Engineering & Design, other departments, and procurement to ensure optimal solutions are included in project scope and put in place capital efficiency programme to deliver best value for money.
- Deliver projects in full compliance with the PMF, Finance Manual , Engineering Standards and Procurement processes.
- Provide strategic and implementation support for GSC core initiatives such as DDA, OT security and sustainability.
- Support engineering capability development programme and provide engineering leadership to PSM.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
- Relevant Pharma Engineering leadership experience
- Project and portfolio management experience
- Proven track record in delivering regional project portfolio
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Experience in Facility Investment planning and delivering of related projects
- Competent in industry recognised Project and Programme Management tools & techniques.
- Construction Safety Leadership experience.
- Experience in delivering in pressurised environment with matrix organisational setting
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary project / program teams
- Proven communication skills and able to work well with multidisciplinary teams.

- Ability to effectively chair forums and demonstrated effective communications skills both written and oral coupled with the ability to tailor to any one of a wide variety of audiences
- Understands the complexities of transformational projects and change management projects
- High levels of personal energy and an ability to energise others
- Strong analytical skills and ability understand complex and highly interdependent problems
- Experience in Digital Data Analytics related program management is preferred
