CAD Technician / Project Technician (AutoCAD)
Woore, Crewe
Up to £27,500 DOE + 30 Days Holiday Increasing to 33 Days after 1 Year Service (Including Statutory) + Business Performance Related Bonus + Pension + Training
37.5 Hours per week with flexibility to work contracted hours over 4 days, subject to workload and managers approval
CAD Technician required for a professional and friendly engineering company. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a busy and varied role. This role is offering full training and flexible working hours.
The successful CAD Technician needs experience of using AutoCAD and can come from any mechanical or pipework background.
You will be responsible for supporting the development of new pumping station projects through the creating of 2D drawings using AutoCAD and the production of parts list.
The CAD Technician Role:
• Produce drawings in 2D AutoCAD.
• Produce parts lists.
• Procure materials on a competitive price basis.
• Documentation and filing.
• Ensure correct equipment selection in line with specifications.
• Maintaining close contact with customers, maintaining rapport.
• Occasional site visits when required
The Successful CAD Technician:
• You will have previous experience of using AutoCAD in 2D.
• Any mechanical or pipework background
