Job Opportunity: Teacher of History – Full-Time - Wokingham
A prestigious independent school in Wokingham seeks an experienced, inspirational History teacher for a two-term full-time contract starting January 2025. This opportunity allows you to join a well-supported and vibrant department that delivers GCSE and A-Level History to students eager to excel.
Desired Experience:
* A passionate, outstanding practitioner with a degree in History or a related field and a PGCE (or equivalent with QTS).
* Proven ability to teach History at KS3, KS4, and KS5 (A-Level), delivering topics such as Nazi Germany, Medicine, the Age of Elizabeth, and Conflict in Asia.
* Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to engaging students of all abilities.
* Collaborative and communicative, with an openness to contributing to the broader school environment.
Desirable but Not Essential:
Ability to teach Politics at KS5.
