Job Description
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for an Mechanical Fitter / Assembly Engineer to join a precision engineering company located in Tamworth, working on a permanent basis.

Our client manufactures small to large complex components for high-profile customers within a wide range of market-leading companies, therefore, we require an Assembly Engineer to join their existing talent team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Work to detailed engineering drawings and schematics
* Assemble machined components
* Working with various hand tools and equipment
* Working on hydraulic circuits and fixtures
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
* Strong mechanical knowledge
* Minimum 5 years assembly experience
* Mechanical qualification, apprenticeship or time served
* Able to assemble small, medium and large parts
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems
* Able to use hand held assembly tools
* Confidence bending and forming parts
* Manual machining experience - grinding, lathes and mills
* Able to troubleshoot and handle complex assembly issues
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience with electrical circuits and controls is highly desirable
