RTX BBN Technologies is looking for an excellent candidate to start and join our Cybersecurity team. Our Cybersecurity team in Columbia, MD, is presently seeking an Information Systems Security Manager to add to the existing team of ISSMs and ISSOs in support of various classified programs. At RTX BBN Technologies, you will receive unique experiences in support of National Security initiatives and programs. The successful candidate should be able to develop, administer, and maintain comprehensive security programs in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

• Provide supervision to a team of Cybersecurity professionals across RTX BBN sites.
• Collect and report performance and effectiveness metrics as required.
• Collaborate, support, and leverage services provided by other Cybersecurity Team members.
• Comply with and support direction provided by the Project Managers to implement and sustain the Cybersecurity Program.
• Collaborate with Information System Owners (ISOs), Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) and Program Managers to ensure required level of Cybersecurity support is being provided.
• Partner with Program Security and Business Infrastructure (BI) organization to develop solutions and deploy standardized processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Assist Cybersecurity Lead & other location ISSMs with Mission Area prioritization and needs.
• Support the Organization’s vision, strategy, and goals.
• Lead and contribute to Cybersecurity projects and initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience managing and implementing security program requirements in a classified R&D environment or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with a DoD 8570.01-M IAM level III certified credentials (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO), if you do not already have this certification.
• An active Top Secret - US security clearance.
• Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs.

Qualifications We Prefer: - Familiar with all, Expert in some

• TS/SCI with current poly US security clearance.
• Experience in the oversight and execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes (Certification & Accreditation), as defined in JSIG/RMF.
• Experience in the execution and management of Information System’s (IS) incident response and administrative inquiries/investigations in collaboration with the investigations.
• Experience in the oversight and execution of a continuous monitoring/improvement program (to include but not limited to self-inspections, security control assessments, training, log management systems, automated inventory utilities, etc.).
• Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments in collaboration with internal/external Customers, Information Technology (IT) and other RTX sites.
• Experience working with the customer, both internal and external in the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and contract negotiations.
• Experience in professional engagements with internal and external customers (i.e. AOs, DAOs, SCAs, Program Managers, etc.), to include negotiating controls/requirements with government Contracting Activities.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
