Full Stack Developer - Java/React.js

Job Description : Skills Required : Java , Springboot , Microservices, React js, data structures Role Description : - As the tech lead of the Indian pod of 4 engineers, scopes and manages projects, provides technical guidance to the team and drives the pod's execution to ensure on-time and high-quality project deliveries. - Facilitates communication and collaboration between our US-based full stack teams and the Indian pod. This will involve working with a 3-hour overlap with PST (e.g., 8-11 AM PST) 2-3 times a week for cross-time zone collaboration. - Participates actively in problem definition and solutioning. Independently maps use-cases, patterns / anti patterns and provide extensible design with right separation of concern and abstractions keeping impact of design change and backward compatibility in mind. - Designs and develops modular, extensible, readable, testable, and performant, secured code. Participates in code review. - Keeps application security as top of the mind, follows secure design architecture and design standards and practices - Creates technical solution artefacts - Troubleshoots cross component issues, issues identified during static analysis, penetration testing or deployment. Narrows down to root causes and solves the symptoms - Uses advanced language constructs, design principles, design patterns, libraries and frameworks being used, right data structure, performance and scalability concepts, tools, and Tech stacks and be able to apply appropriately. - Good to have: Based in Bangalore and can work in-person with the pod and other Airbnb engineers Skill and Experience : - Strong 10 to 15 years of technical & architecture experience in IC & Lead role, leading a POD team (5 to 6 engineers) - Strong experience in JAVA, Microservices Thrift, GraphQL & familiar with frontend tech stacks, e.g. React, Redux - Strong experience on System Design & Distributed systems Architecture. Familiarity with responsive design/development, micro-frontend architecture and mobile / web best practices. - Good Hands-on Coding Experience Using Data Structures and Algorithms, Design Patterns and on Cloud Applications using AWS - Excellent Problem-Solving ability; Attention to detail demonstrated by ability to follow and develop specific, outlined and detailed procedures - Good experience on Agile Methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps and detail-oriented person - Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills; self-driven & end-to-end ownership of stakeholders engagement especially through cross-timezone collaboration - Strong project management and technical leadership skills - Experienced on Insurance Domain is good to have - Previous experience in Airbnb projects and micro services systems is good to have (ref:hirist.tech)
